The purpose of this study is to examine if a medication may improve stress response and reduce craving and opioid use in individuals who are currently taking buprenorphine or methadone. Participation in this research may inform future treatments used to help opioid users.
You may qualify for our study if you meet the following criteria.
Key Criteria:

- 18-65 years of age
- On a stable dose of daily buprenorphine or methadone for at least 2 weeks
Once enrolled, this study involves:
- In-person and virtual study visits
- Blood draw, EKG, saliva and urine drug screens
- Personal surveys, interviews, and a stress task
- Random assignment to study medication or placebo
- Use of study monitoring app
Compensation up to $1300 is provided for your time.
