About Our Research Study
Help University of Illinois researchers evaluate an online program for preventing depression in teens.
We are testing an online program called CATCH-IT (Competent Adulthood Transition with Cognitive-behavioral & Interpersonal Training) which is designed to help teens learn coping skills that may help prevent feelings of stress and low mood.

The online program has four different parts – three parts are for teens and one part is for parents/guardians. The study will test which parts of the program help teens the most. We will use a method called randomization to determine which parts you will get. Randomization means that the program you are assigned is by chance, like drawing a name from a hat. It is possible for you and your parent/guardian to receive all four parts of the program, some of the parts of the program, or none of the program.

Your participation in this study could lead to better approaches for helping teens at risk of depression. Enroll today!
