About This Study
The purpose of this 6-week study is to explore new treatment options for people with depression. The study will help determine the best dose of an FDA-approved medication that might be used in the future to treat sub-groups of depressed individuals.
The study will have 2-3 screening visits (online and in-person) that includes lab tests, medical and psychiatric assessments, neurocognitive testing and functional MRI (fMRI) scans as part of the study. The total length of participation is about 2 months.

Additional Information
The purpose of this study is to explore new treatment options for people with depression who have high inflammation.
You may qualify for this study if you meet the following criteria.

- Currently depressed
- 25-55 Years Old
- Not taking antidepresants or other psychotropic therapies (e.g., mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, anxiolytics, stimulants, and sedative hypnotics) for at least 4 weeks prior to baseline visit
The study will be about 2 months, and includes online and in person visits:
- Visits will include lab tests, medical and psychiatric assessments, neurocognitive testing and functional MRI (fMRI) scans as part of the study
Participants will be compensated up to $1,110 for full study participation. An additional $25 per visit will be provided to cover travel expenses for participants that travel equal to or greater than 50 miles one way.
There is no cost for you to participate in this study.
