This study will benefit the advancement of HIV prevention science by harnessing technology to promote engagement in HIV care while improving social support through peers and social networking in a setting that is trauma-informed for Black women with experiences of interpersonal violence.
You may qualify to participate if you meet the following criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:
- 18+ years old
- Currently living with HIV
- Identify as Black or African American
- Cisgender or Transgender Woman
- Ever experienced physical, sexual, and/or psychological abuse, either by a current or former partner or by a non-partner (friend, relative, stranger, etc.)
- Own a smartphone with internet access
- English speaking
- Baseline visit: You will complete the informed consent process, enrollment paperwork, and provide contact information. You will complete a survey including questions about your demographics, medical history, and other factors that might affect your health. Finally, a small hair sample will be collected. Once all procedures are complete, you will be provided with resources to help with your care during the study.
- Follow-up visit 1 (3 months from baseline): you will complete the same survey as before and provide another small hair sample. This visit may be completed virtually from your home.
- Follow-up visit 2 (6 months from baseline): you will complete the same survey as before and provide another small hair sample. This visit may be completed virtually from your home.
Compensation is provided up to $180.
There is no cost for you to participate in the study.
