Study Background Do your repetitive behaviors bring you or your teen enjoyment? Do your repetitive behaviors help you or your teen relax? Are there things you don’t like about your repetitive behaviors? We seek your help to answer these important questions! We want to learn more about how autistic teens experience their repetitive behaviors through questionnaires for both parents and teens. Some participants will also be invited for an optional in-person appointment which will include behavioral activities and a MRI scan. The purpose of this research study is to learn about autistic teens’ experiences with repetitive behaviors in order to promote inclusion.

Note: If your teen is unavailable to complete their questionnaire for any reason, you may still fill out the parent questionnaire.
Participants will receive $25 for filling out the parent questionnaires and an additional $15 for filing out the teen questionnaires. This compensation will be sent in the mail via a physical bank card and may be sent as two separate cards if preferred.
Invited participants that complete the optional in-person appointment will receive compensation for travel (bus fare, gas mileage, etc.). Additionally, teens will receive $60 for completing the in-person visit and parents will receive $15 for accompanying their teen during this visit.
