This study will survey ischemic stroke survivors about their self-management behaviors, such as exercise, symptom management, communication with a physician, and taking medication.

Additional Information
The purpose of the study is to explore self-management behaviors and quality of life among middle-aged ischemic stroke survivors and evaluate the adequateness of a particular care model.
You may qualify for our study if you meet the following criteria.
Key Criteria:
Key Criteria:
- 40-64 years of age
- Survivor of an ischemic stroke
- Self-managing your condition
- Living in a home (not living in a nursing home, hospital, or rehabilitation facility)
- No recurring stroke or myocardial infarction after the initial stroke
Once enrolled, this study involves completing online surveys about your self-management behaviors and quality of life.
There will be a drawing of ten $100 gift cards to be awarded to participants.
There is no cost to participate in our research study.
