The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is looking for LGBTQIA+ individuals to participate in a 2-part survey study! The purpose of this study is to understand how minority stress influences tobacco use. Smokers and non-smokers are eligible to participate!

The purpose of our study is to asses minority stress influences on tobacco use.
You may qualify to participate in this study if you meet the following criteria.
Key criteria:

- 18-25 years old
- Smokers and non-smokers invited to participate
- identify as a sexual minority (i.e., gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, queer, asexual)
- Do not identify as heterosexual (straight)
- Individuals living in a rural area in OK, TX, AR, MO, NM, CO, MS, KS, & LA
The study includes 2 online surveys 6 months apart, each survey will last ~25 minutes.
Compensation up to $30 is provided for participating in our research study.
There is no cost for you to participate in our research program.
